Title: Capture coordinates of another drawing

Hello friends, here asking for your knowledge, in autocad if I have 2 files open, drawing1 and drawing2, is it possible for me to execute a command like getpoint in drawing1 and capture coordinates in drawing2 ? It can ? Thank you
