Hello.
This is the first time I am trying to use getfiled function with palette but its seems that it does not work for me at all and as shown in the attached video I just can enter the name but can not pick or hit any button within that dialog.
Anyone can clarify this issue for me please?

It seems that it is working when I allow docking on the side as in the following video. ???
Is there any logic issue behind this behavior?

It looks like a bug, maybe related to KeepFocus setting of your palette.

I have many questions about Palette since that I do like using it with my programs.
How to control the Auto-hide option and Allow Docking?
Sometimes the Palette go into the mode of Auto-Hide at the start up of the program. So how to control this as well?
I have searched the properties ( Control Browser ) but could not find the proper properties for my need in this regard.

Docking and auto-hide behavior are controlled by AutoCAD, either in your .cuix file or via workspace settings in Profile.aws. Controlling these programmatically is not straightforward, I'm afraid.
The KeepFocus issue is now fixed in OpenDCL 9.0.1.4.
