Title: bricscad crash
Post by: potencjalek on February 27, 2020, 08:06:20 AM
Hi All
I have problem that I cannot solve for a long time, my Bricscad is crashing when i use block_view. Crashing happens quite often without any error from Bricscad.
I checked it at couple of machines - the same result.
I use ODCL 8201 and Bricscad Version 17.2.12 (x64) revision 49652 (the latest I found from V17)
it looks like there is some bug between odcl and Bricscad in block view object
I attached also crash report from Bricscad, maybe it helps.

additional question
Blackview shows my block in a weird way - something wrong with shade, I tried different render mode but all of them gave the same results
maybe Bricscad settings are wrong - but block preview in Bricscad original window looks good (sample attached)

It looks like a bug in BricsCAD, probably fixed in later versions.

The crash is likely related to the block view issue, so both.
