Title: Usage of "Modify AutoCAD Symbol Names"
Post by: Peter2 on September 23, 2013, 12:09:05 AM
I played around with this feature and came to two conclusions:

a) It is not possible to modify only one or a group of elements.
b) Check "Update all" + "Yes" updates all, uncheck "Update all" + "Yes" updates nothing.

Right?

Regards

In the English version these menu items are called "Set Lisp Symbol Names" and 'Clear Lisp Symbol Names". If you check the checkbox ("Update all controls on the form" in English) it updates form + controls. If you do *not* check the checkbox, it updates only the form. If the German language version uses unclear terminology, please suggest improvements.

"Update all controls on the form" in English...
The conclusion is: It updates "all" or "nothing".
Update "selected controls" is not possible. Right?

No, it's OK. Thinking about it I was confused about the basic menus - (for me) it is not clear that it updates only the form.

That is correct.
