Title: Comboboxes with different width when collapsed / expanded?
Post by: Peter2 on July 12, 2018, 01:25:16 AM
Many Autocad / Civil Comboboxes have different width((e)s) (?) when they are expanded or collapsed - see picture.

Is it possible in ODCL too?

Hi, Peter, you can only set its Width at all and DropdownHeight, but not DropdownWidth.

Would be great as new feature (the layer-combobox already uses this feature)

Added to OpenDCL at Sourceforge as Feature-Request:

"#158 Different width for collapsed / expanded comboboxes"
https://sourceforge.net/p/opendcl/feature-requests/158/

Thanks Fred

I would say it is a workaround, but not a solution. It needs additional coding, and it increases the entire box and not only the expanded part. And the enlargment of the "title" can collide with other controls.

So let's see what the future will bring - it would be fine, but not vital.
