Title: OpenDCL in AutoCAD LT
Post by: Emiliano on August 15, 2012, 11:29:30 PM
Is there a way to run OpenDCL in AutoCAD LT?
Some of you have used successfully:
- CADSTA (http://www.cadavenue.com/cadsta-ships-with-mechq-lt.htm)

or

- Toolkit Max (http://www.cadinternational.com/cadinternational/product.php?prod=DRC-TK-MAX&prodtype=PR)

Do you have any other solution?
Thanks in advance for answers

Hi, since it is not allowed to extend AutoCAD LT there's no way to load the runtime into AutoCAD LT.

It would be nice also OpenDCL revolved in AutoCAD LT

Hi, yes, you are right, there are tools which extend AutoCAD LT. On the other hand I recommend you to have a look at the end user licence agreement that forbids the user to extend the functionality of AutoCAD LT.

For similar money as a dubious add-on - you may as well just buy Bricscad Pro which runs OpenDcl, Lisp etc, is 100% legitimate and far superior to AutoCAD LT and pretty close to full AutoCAD.
