Title: Creating a menu-structure with OpenDCL - experience, recommendations?
Post by: Peter2 on September 11, 2025, 03:07:19 AM
For the tools in my company I have the problem that ..
- my package of lisp tools is dynamically increasing
- we use Bricscad and Autocad
- some users uses ribbons, other pulldown menu
- for tooltips and extended help Brics and Acad have different features ...
- some tools are not used often, but then again and again..

So the result is that my menu / my menus are never up to date and I'm thinking about an ODCL solution which offers many features.

But - there are many ways to offer a dialog with many commands:
- tree
- tabs
- palettes
- buttons
- and a free combination of them all together

Are there any recommendations or examples or (bad) experiences with this topic?

What have you used? And why?

Thanks and have a good time!
Peter
