the form's background is getting white if I insert a frame control behind the grid and the other controls. If I delete it in the Studio then the color is normal.
How can I avoid that?

Please test this in Beta 6 to see if the problem still exists. It's risky to make any changes to the frame control, because there are so many special cases that can be broken by a small change. For Beta 6, I've marked it as transparent, which should cause the parent dialog to repaint its background. I'm not sure if this is the reason for the problem you point out (the problem doesn't occur in Vista), but it's worth a try.
Yes, it looks great now, but I'll have to test if the change has consequences for other situations.
