Title: Split Control Names
Post by: Marco Jacinto on March 05, 2008, 08:25:52 AM
Hi Owen,

I just Install the ESM Studio, I have seen a lot of nonsense in my work, so I already make the corrections.

Also I see that I split the name of the controls, so they Stands like this "Cuadro de Lista", wich when you get the Get/Set functions they show in the vlide as arguments, wich obviously throws an error on execution, so I have to bring them together, the question is,

Do you have a format to split words? or

Do you have a preference in how to denote diferent words? like using "-", or "_" or even a case Word.

Hope I explained correctly.

Did you re-download the RC files before you stated making changes?

Marco, I would follow the same convention used in the English resources and use capital letters to delineate words. I will add a note about the requirement to not use spaces in names for control types.

As barry said, make sure you make your changes to the updated .rc file available at http://www.opendcl.com/localization
