(dcl-ComboBox-Clear cntrlName) failing 8.1.0.0

(dcl-ComboBox-Clear cntrlName)
This function works in 8.0.5.0 but not in 8.1.0.0.
It returns true but does nothing.

Does the wrong behavior depend on combo box style?
