Title: Supported CAD platforms
Post by: Rakesh Rao on May 06, 2021, 11:14:37 PM

Dear Support,

I have installed OpenDCL for AutoCAD and BricsCAD.

Are there any more CAD platforms supported? I am interested to know about ZWCAD and ARES Commander support?

Is it available?

Best Regards

ZWCAD and GstarCAD are also supported, although both of those have incomplete functionality.

Thanks Owen for the update.

What about ARES Commander? Any plans to support that?

Best Regards

There are no plans to support ARES Commander. ARX compatible UI classes are a prerequisite for OpenDCL, and as far as I know ARES Commander does not provide such classes.

Hi,
i'm new to OpenDCL but i find it very interesting.
I operate on both AutoCAD and ZWcad.

Due to the fact that in you answer you say that on ZWCAD there are some limitations ("incomplete functionality"), where can I find a detailed list of this differences between the supported platform (AutoCAD, BricsCAD, ZWcad, GstarCAD) ?

Thank you in advance
Nicola
