Example of color patch in Grid?

I am working on a custom layer control, I can put the color numbers in, but would like to be able to show a
color patch like the small color box used in the standard layer control?

Could you use a Text or Graphics button and set the background color ??

Is it possible to set the background color for each line possibly?
Or maybe just a cell of the grid?
