Default button independent from tab-order

It seems that I cann't find a basic setting for beginners ....

I have a dialogue with 3 buttons: A    B     C

When the dialogue is loaded, button "B" should be the selected default button - a simple "Enter" should start "B".
But nevertheless I want the tab order in "A B C"

I know that the first button in drawing order is the default, so I should use a drawing order "B C A".
It works, but is it really the only way to select "B" as default?
