Is there a way to display whether a project is currently saved or unsaved?
TitleBar or status line or beep when save pressed and file already saved.
Perhaps disable save button when in saved state.

This should be added to the feature request tracker on SourceForge. I tried once to add the asterisk in the title bar, but MFC foiled my plans, and I gave up.
