I have a dialog that has a picture box with lables and textboxs on top of it. I have been using this
same box since the original objectdcl and through all the versions of opendcl. I am currently using 5.1.2.3
With this version of studio the picture dominates all the other controls when I send it to the back. If I bring it to
the front then I can see the other controls but can not select them. When I send the picture box to the back then I can not see the
label and textboxs to move them.If I turn visible false then I can move the other controls. I have tried many settings but with the same results. It displays ok in AutoCAD. Does anyone
have a cure. Thanks wvc

Hi, wvc,

this problem is known. Owen explained it here.

As Fred says, there is no good solution to the painting order problem. You can get into the habit of selecting overlapping controls in the tab/z-order pane instead of clicking on them in the dialog workspace and getting the wrong one.

Thanks for the help. Opendcl is a great tool. As I said it still works fine in AutoCad.
