Hello,
I just learned that ACAD LT from 2024, supports Autolisp, Vlisp, end to to some extent VLAX.
Does anybody in this forum know if that also includes OpenDCL ?

Best regards

Hi,
quite interesting, but no: the AutoCAD LT Help is misleading in my opinion: the screenshot shows an appload dialog with selected arx filetype and some lines below you can read:
QuoteAutoCAD LT doesn't support ObjectARX, VBA, and DBX applications.
That means, also OpenDCL cannot be loaded.

Torsten ended developing LT-Extender in 2009, because Autodesk did not allow any programmable automation  in AutoCAD LT, so this policy seems to be revised.

Hi, I have tested: I as guessed, Autodesk just copied the Appload dialog screenshot from AutoCAD to LT Help. In LT you cannot select arx files. You cannot load ARX after LT start using (arxload). You cannot demandload OpenDCL using the registry key. You cannot start VLIDE in LT. I did not have a try with legacy dcl. I believe the goal of lisp in LT was to bring AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD Web closer together since Lisp is already avaliable in Web.
