Hi, I would like to know if it is allowed to use OPENDCL in commercial products (for example, paid apps in the autodesk exchange store).

Is this something that is strictly not allowed?

Is this something that is allowed but only under certain conditions (and what are those conditions)?

Is this something that is openly allowed?

What is the verdict? What do the people keeping OpenDCL alive think of this?

It is certainly allowed. There are many commercial OpenDCL based apps currently available all over the world. Distributing the OpenDCL Runtime or OpenDCL Studio is also allowed under the terms of the GNU-GPL license. For App Store apps, I would recommend to not distribute the runtime with the app, but instead just make it clear that OpenDCL Runtime is a prerequisite and provide a link to the project download page or a direct link to the stable OpenDCL Runtime MSI file.

Thanks Owen. This is exactly the information that I was looking for.
