i know the 5.1.0.1 version still has bugs but i have to ask a question
i have a client with one of my apps that was written a year ago
he has use it with autocad 2004 thru 2009 with no problems
he just recieved 2010 and i emailed him the 5.1.0.1 runtime opendcl.18.arx
now we get an error:
"The OpenDCL local language resource module was not found or could not be loaded. OpenDCL cannot continue. Please reinstall OpenDCL Runtime to correct the problem."
then error:
"Failed to load C:\Program Files\QD OBJECT CONTROL\opendcl.18.ARX"

the arx file is in the correct folder.

is there something that i need to do with the program or is it just a bug in the new release that will be resolved later.

thanks

Did you install the updated runtime before or after the install of 2010? Chances are 2010 needs to be installed first and then the runtime installed.

thanks russell
2010 was installed first then the arx was updated

also the client is using 2009 and when i emailed the arx update i included all the arx files 16-18
after the update the app stopped working in 2009 as well with the same error message
so we just replaced the new arx with thew old arx and 2009 worked again
2010 still not playing nice

Instead of emailing the .arx files, email the OpenDCL Runtime MSI file so that he gets the localized resource modules as well.
