I noticed when a Text Box control is disabled, its does not turn gray, which means just by looking at it, the user would not be able to tell that it is disabled. Is this by design? I was thinking maybe its background color should be changed to -16 or something gray like that.

Thanks.

That does seem odd, but it looks like Microsoft implemented it that way. Note that the text content does turn gray when the text box is disabled.

Owen, Thanks for looking into it. In this image, when user is looking for a string, I want it to be obvious that the Text Box for fuzz is disabled. So I'll just change its background color.
